PURPOSE—To encourage athletics for all girls of the high school, to develop a spirit of fair play and sportsmanship among all students and to be a loyal member throughout the year.

Membership is open to any high school girl, who has a "C" average or above, and is interested in athletics.

This year the G.A.A. participated in both volley ball and basketball interscholastic games. The volley ball team won 2 out of 2 games; the basketball team won 8 our of 12 games.

Bill Hilgeman, city recreational director, was one of the speakers. Color slides of the West were shown at another meeting.

To raise money, old coat hangers were collected and refinished, and a bake sale was held. The G.A.A. sponsored a dance in April, and in May, a Mother-Daughter banquet.
